FAQ
Handling you phone
At Off The Radar, we are committed to creating an environment that is truly immersive, distraction-free, and focused on real-world connection. That’s why we have implemented a strict zero phone policy — meaning the use of mobile phones during the event is not permitted.
To ensure both the safety of our guests and their phones, we’ve developed a unique system that allows visitors to keep their phones with them while still preventing usage. Upon arrival, all phones are placed in special Off The Radar phone pouches. These secure pouches are held by the visitors themselves throughout the event but can only be unlocked by our crew at designated unlocking stations. You get these pouches at the entrance and upon entry of the club, it will be checked if the phone is inside.
If you have any questions, concerns, or if you believe your situation may warrant an exception, please feel free to reach out to us at info@offtheradar.nl. Exceptions can be made in specific cases, and we assess each request individually.
Thank you for helping us preserve the magic of being Off The Radar.
While Off The Radar provides a secure and structured way to store phones during the event, visitors remain fully responsible for their own belongings, including mobile phones. Each guest keeps their phone with them inside a locked Off The Radar phone pouch, which cannot be opened without assistance from our crew.
Please note that Off The Radar is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property, including mobile devices, accessories, or any other personal items brought to the event. We strongly encourage all guests to keep their belongings with them at all times and to take the usual precautions when attending a public event.
Yes, visitors can rent a locker to safely store their personal belongings during the event. Lockers can be easily rented on-site by scanning a QR code with your phone. However, it’s very important to understand the following process due to our strict phone-free policy:
Off The Radar is a fully phone-free event. This means your phone must be placed into a special Off The Radar phone pouch, which remains locked throughout the event. Because you’ll need your phone to rent a locker, the process is as follows:
Ticket Scan & Pouch Pickup
Upon entering, your ticket will be scanned, and you will receive your personal phone pouch.Locker Rental
You’ll follow the marked route to the lockers, where you can use your phone to scan the QR code and rent a locker. Use this moment to store anything you don’t need during the event.Phone Into the Pouch
After your locker is secured, place your phone inside the phone pouch and close it. From this point on, the pouch cannot be opened unless a crew member unlocks it.Final Check at Entrance
Before entering the main area, your pouch will be checked. No phone in the pouch means no entry — this rule is non-negotiable.
This process helps us create a space that feels truly safe, free, and present — a place where you don’t have to worry about being filmed or ending up on social media. A space where you can be yourself, connect with others, and experience the moment without distractions.
This is what Off The Radar stands for — and it only works if we all stick to it.
Think of others, think of yourself. Together, we create Off The Radar.
It’s important to understand that you remain fully responsible for your own device at all times.
Off The Radar cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or other incidents involving your mobile phone or any personal belongings, whether inside or outside the venue. We advise all guests to handle their phones and other valuables with care and to make sure their phone pouch remains securely closed and in their possession at all times.

Sustainability is important to us and our locations for several reasons. First of all, the future of our planet and the people living on it is very important to us! By organising the club and festival as sustainably as possible, we try to have as little impact on the immediate environment as possible. We do this by, among other things: taking into account when purchasing where we pay attention to packaging materials and the recyclability of the waste produced, for example. We also do this by: separating waste as well as possible. And we do this by: using and offering as little single-use material as possible to visitors. In addition, we pay attention to sustainability when collaborating with brands and purchasing certain products. For instance, we work with Fritz Kola, a company actively committed to sustainability.
